Kingsland is a top of the line masterpiece for upscale ambiance. The case is hand polished complete with metal inlays. The highest of quality clock movement has a power reserve of 31 days. The next-generation German precision movement has six ball bearings in the gear system, two ruby bushings are used for the third wheel, escape wheel and anchor. The solid graham anchor has two rubin pallets and the true second hand indication is managed by a 60 step wheel. For the highest of accuracy a carbon pendulum is used with the famous "Huygen-scher Laufer" system which allows for fine adjustment.

This marked a new chapter of growth for the company as Hermle was able to utilize American and imported hardwoods to supply case goods for highly sought-after German quality mechanisms. The Amherst plant specializes in traditional hardwood floor, grandfather, wall, and mantel clock cases, with German movements and accessories. Some of the styles are based on early American tradition, and one is even a licensed Colonial Williamsburg reproduction.
