Vespasian bust reduction in bronze, inspired by the original bust in the Louvre Museum. Vespasian (Titus Flavius Vespasianus), 9 AD - 79 AD, was Roman emperor from 69 AD, the victorious of the Year of the Four Emperors, and the founder of the Flavian dynasty that would rule the Empire for 27 years. Vespasian's success came from his military brilliance and support of the army. He was the legate of Legio II Augusta during the Roman invasion of Britain in 43 AD and successfully subjugated Judaea during the Jewish rebellion of 66 AD. The instability of the line of succession after Nero's death was the greatest opportunity for this general to create a new dinasty of emperors.

The stone socle of this bust can have veinings of different color and size which can alter the final appearance of the bust.
